The Danbaeksangsoon League has become a venue for communication and exchange among college students in the Chungcheongnam-do area, who had been cut off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This Sports Festival provided an opportunity for the hardworking students of the Department of Physical Education, who had been dedicated to their respective schools for a period of three years, to gather and promote unity and friendship. Dankook University, Baekseok University, Sangmyung University, and Soonchunhyang University all participated in the inaugural Danbaeksangsoon League. Both players and spectators were on edge, eagerly anticipating the outcome. The cheering squad continued to exude tremendous energy, rallying their respective teams. With the start of the final relay race, the excitement reached its peak. At this point, with the scores tied, the relay race unfolded in a fiercely competitive manner. After an intense battle, Sangmyung University emerged as the victor, securing the relay race win. As a result, Sangmyung University clinched the overall championship at the Chungcheongnam-do University Athletics Competition. The atmosphere and prospects of the Danbaeksangsoon League Indeed, the Danbaeksangsoon League created an exciting and vibrant atmosphere throughout the sports event. It’s a project implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) since 2017 to spread the culture of eating breakfast and induce healthy eating habits by providing breakfast for 1,000 won to college students with a high breakfast rate. In the Cheonan campus, this project was already implemented in 2018 and this year, finally It has been introduced in the Seoul campus. Isn’t this a great project for students? From now on, let’s find out why they started the 1,000 won breakfast, the goal, and the status of implementation, and the events to commemorate this project. 1,000 won breakfast is being implemented in the form of the government providing 1,000 won and the school paying the rest if a student pays 1,000 won for a meal. In other words, 1,000 won is provided by the Korea Agency of Education, Promotion and Information Service in Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (EPIS) which is related with the MAFRA, and the university supports the remaining costs. Students can eat a regular meal and convenient meal like rice bread used domestic rice, rice cereal and rice noodle for just 1,000 won during the period except for the vacation period.Meanwhile, a 2022 survey found that 98.7% of the respondents said they hoped the breakfast service of 1,000 won would continue, indicating that the response was very good. 1,000won Breakfast (1) Since the start of 1,000 won breakfast in May this year, it has been operated for 100 meals a day on each campus, and the event which is called "Starting with the president" have also been held by the president and faculty of Sangmyung University. Based on the major knowledge of Sangmyung University's Department of Industrial Design, the UX Design course is designed and produced by students themselves. The UX design course is a comprehensive design course to cultivate creativity, practical skills, teamwork, and leadership. The UX design course is conducted by industry consulting on the operation of the subject. In this article, I will introduce the Capstone design course (UX Design course) of the Department of Industrial Design at Sangmyung University. Also, in this article, I would like to introduce the Department of Industrial Design at Sangmyung University. UX design refers to designing various applications contained in the web, smartphones, etc. to be more convenient to use. Through this, the Department of Industrial Design at Sangmyung University conducted a class of "UX Design", an industry-academic-linked project class, so that students can participate in the development process of the "Life Safety K-Guard App" being developed by ETRI. The class performance result of "UX Design", a capstone design subject, was reflected in the "Life Safety K-Guard App Advancement Course" and became an exemplary example of the operation of the capstone design subject. K-Guard, a life safety risk prevention service app developed by ETRI, provides 11 types of services such as flooding risk, fire risk, daily safety, sole safety, and missing accidents according to regional characteristics. In particular, this service is customized for users and provides various safety risks in daily life according to individual safety vulnerabilities such as user's location, age, and disability. Developed by ETRI, the Life Safety K-Guard app provides alerts of higher risk levels for visually impaired, crutches/wheelchair users, pregnant women and the elderly with high safety vulnerabilities, even at the same risk. In addition, apps developed by ETRI provide automatic notifications near dangerous points by voice, vibration, and text depending on your choice without running the app one by one, so you can pay attention to safety risks from time to time. The life safety K-guard app developed by ETRI is a service that contributes to community safety by informing the risk of exposure to various parts of the neighborhood through voluntary participation such as active reporting and reporting by users. Jung Soo-yeon, 4th grade at Sangmyung University’s Department of Space Design, and Han So-won, 3rd grade at Sangmyung University’s Department of Space Design, participated as the first and second authors in the paper “Development of a Solar Tracking-Based Movable Louver System to Save Lighting Energy and Create a Compatible Light Environment” published in SCIE International Academic Journal, Building. Sangmyung University’s Department of Space Design was the first indoor design major in Korea in 1988 and is a proud department of Sangmyung University. In this article, I will take a closer look at the SCIE International Academic Journal of the undergraduate research team majoring in space design at Sangmyung University. Also, I will learn more about Sangmyung University's space design major. SCIE stands for SCIENCE CITATION INDEX EXPANDED. The SCIE paper is an overseas journal with high technical value, meaning “Science and Technology Paper Index,” and can be said to be an extension of the renowned journal SCI selected by strict selection criteria among scientific and technology journals. The difference between SCIE and SCI is that SCIE was later created by adding “expanded”' to SCI, but it has been integrated since 2020 and now SCIE and SCIE are the same. Summary of the paper “Development of a Solar Tracking-Based Movable Louver System to Save Lighting Energy and Create a Compatible Light Environment” published in an international academic journal If you look at the summary of the paper 'Development of a Solar Tracking-Based Movable Louver System to Save Lighting Energy and Create a Compatible Light Environment' published in an international academic journal, the paper shows that the research team of undergraduates majoring in space design at Sangmyung University proposed a solar tracking-based mobile louver (STML) system and investigated its efficacy using a full-scale test bed. In addition, the paper contains the contents of developing a full-scale test bed for this purpose. The paper states that the research team of undergraduates majoring in space design at Sangmyung University has estimated indoor uniformity improvement and energy reduction of various types of STML systems, including vertical, horizontal, eggcrate and hybrid. In other words, the louver (shade) system proposed in this research paper is a mixed type louver (shade) in which four driveshafts control the length sequentially from the driveshaft adjacent to the sun through solar tracking to increase the area of the sun screen. Through this, the problem of damaging the view right was improved along with improving the shading and lighting efficiency of the louver (shade film) compared to the prior technology. In particular, performance evaluation proved that energy reduction of 35.7% to 49.7% compared to prior technologies is possible. In the paper, this study states that this study is significant because it proposes a new louver concept that can improve shading and daylighting efficiency by reviewing conventional louver technologies and validating their effectiveness through performance evaluation. However, another limitation of this study is stated in the paper that there is a lack of technical review to assess the economics of the proposed technology, and further research will improve the limitations of this study. This indicates that the research team of undergraduates majoring in space design at Sangmyung University recognizes the limitations of their paper and is working to improve them. As a result, it can be seen that Sangmyung University’s Department of Space Design is constantly facing limitations and striving to move in a better direction. It increases concentration. 3. It increases the effectiveness of exercise. 4. It calms your mind. For these reasons, music is closely related to the lives of modern people. In that sense, let's find out what kind of music clubs are in the Sangmyung University Cheonan campus. Do you know what kind of music clubs are at Sangmyung University? There are three music clubs at Sangmyung University: Soulo, Darkness, and Crunk Brain. Characteristics of Each Club The first music club is the acoustic music club Soulo. Soulo consists of a performance team, a planning team, a public relation team, and a technical team. Soulo’s advantage is to perform in contact with other cafes and bars. And during regular performances, they perform with a concept. For example, last year, they held a retro concept and performed songs related to autumn, such as IU's autumn morning. Soulo runs a channel on YouTube so that more people can listen to their songs. The second music club is Darkness. Darkness is a rock band club that has been active for over 20 years. Darkness consists of vocals, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, etc. The strength of Darkness lies in the long experience and popularity of the band club, and due to the nature of the band club, it focuses on rock music and performance. In addition, Darkness performed about 30 songs in collaboration with the Chungnam Music Creation Center during its regular performance last year. The third music club is Crunk Brain, a black music club. Crunk Brain consists of a performance team, a content production team, and a supporters team. The advantage of Crunk Brain is that people who like black music gather to write and compose various music. In addition, Crunk Brain holds regular performances every semester and participate in joint performances with universities based in Cheonan. This project is a cultural independent content created by Cheonan citizens themselves, and it is a project to develop contents that combine the two by utilizing Cheonan's cultural resources. The team ‘Gongbaek’ recreated the Standing Stone Buddha statue of Jangsan-ri Cheonan, a local cultural property, a trouble solving whiz* ‘Kopakdosa.’ And, they made various culture contents by utilizing this character. Then, what is the association between the Standing Stone Buddha statue of Jangsan-ri and ‘Kopakdosa?’ * whiz : a person who is good at something What Is the Standing Stone Buddha Statue of Jangsan-ri? Standing Stone Buddha statue in Jangsan-ri In order to understand their connection, it is necessary to learn about the Standing Stone Buddha statue in Jangsan-ri. It is located in the village of Jangsan-ri, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, and is a standing Buddha statue made of granite on a square pedestal. The head with a topknot hair is larger than the body and narrow shoulders. His comfortable face is full of mercy, and his nose was damaged by shamanistic customs. They also produced an Instagramtoon through their Instagram accounts or practiced a problem-solving program using Instagram's Q&A function. It was divided into three episodes, with the story that ‘Kopakdosa,’ the representative character of the team, listens to the story of a student who is worried about getting a job and solves the problem. In the last episode, it gave warm comfort to the content viewers by advising their mindset when solving their problems. The problem-solving program through Instagram Q&A, was conducted anonymously on various concerns such as study, career, and personality in the form a Kakao talk conversation between the questioner and Kopakdosa. I will introduce 4 kinds of mobile applications. The first application is “Sangmyung University Academic Information Center”. It can be called a mobile library. Through this application, you can check if the book you want to borrow is in the library and check the status of books that you borrowed. Also, you can reserve and use group-study-rooms. The second application is “Cosmos”. This application allows you to check the notices of your lecture and information of newly uploaded assignments in real time. The third application is “StonePass”. You will have frequent access to “Sammul Portal System”. It is a kind of web site of our university. You can get almost all the information about our university from this website, including your academic information, enrollment, notices, and lecture information. Among these apps, if you want to check the information about the lecture that you signed up for, you need to authenticate yourself. “StonePass” is an app that can authenticate yourself. Without this application, you cannot check the information about lectures, so it is an indispensable application. The fourth application is “Clicker”.
